Home is ...Welcome!
Welcoming flowers and a lit candle…
Please come in. Welcome to our home. We are glad you are here.
Nothing surpasses a warm welcome to family returning after errands or at the day’s end of school or work than fresh flowers and a lit candle! Guests just know you have been waiting for their arrival with anticipation.
Our farm house back door enters directly into the kitchen. The only people who come to our front doors are delivery folks.
We try our best to be at the door before the knock comes or the ringing of the small bell when the door is opened. All guests enter here. All guests are honored guests. Even the children and young adults take notice. Often the only thing to add are warm words of welcome.
Welcome! It is safe here. We want you here. Are you tired? Do you want to be wanted? The small arrangements of candle light (even in the daytime) and flowers set my heart toward welcoming and recieving our family back home and our guests into our haven.
Welcome! Are there any sweeter words to one coming into a house that is called a home?
